Women in Action Worldwide is a non-profit association founded in 2012 and governed by the articles of its Constitution and the Swiss Civil Code.

Goals

• To contribute to the social, economic and political empowerment of women in accordance with the principles of CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women), 18 December 1979.
• To highlight women’s contributions to the political, economic and social life and environmental preservation of a country or region, in order to respond to the challenges facing society and bring about improvements. 

Objectives

• Ensuring that women are fairly represented in travel guides, travel literature and other tourism-related documents;
• By promoting the activities of women entrepreneurs;
• By promoting equal opportunities and rights for women in their political and professional activities, their social and personal lives.

The mission of Women in action Worldwide is to produce and publish editorial projects that shed light to the professional activities of women from a particular country or region. Their stories will enable us to discover the world through the eyes and experiences of women.
