‘The World of Women Artists in Sicily’ is the new book in the ‘The World of Women’ series, currently in preparation.
30 Sicilian women artists from all nine provinces of the region recount their life stories.
Their art forms include fashion design, embroidery, weaving, ceramics, sculpture, mosaics, jewellery, coral art, photography, painting, architecture, design, theatre, music, puppetry, poetry and writing, pastry-making and culinary art.
The interviews have been conducted, the writing is progressing, and the search for a publisher is underway.
